Educating for Tomorrow
You learn history; You hear about the news. Now you can affect both! Through hands on learning activities, movies and guided discussion, Educating for Tomorrow will enable the student to internalize the concept of “areivut,” mutual responsibility for our fellow Jew. These modules, which are specifically geared toward elementary school, junior high school and high school levels, sensitize the students to either terror victims or the Israeli army. At the end of the module, the group has to decide on a course of action that responds to the needs of the group they have studied and demonstrates their support.
Share a Simcha
Nothing solidifies Jewish identity like Jewish action! Begin your child’s Jewish adulthood with a Jewish act and Share a Simcha today! Does your school or synagogue have a special program of study for children becoming bar and bat mitzvah? Do you teach bar mitzvah lessons and wonder how to engage your students outside the formal study of technique? Are you looking for a meaningful chessed project for your son’s or daughter’s bar/bat mitzvah?
Share a Simcha has been designed to benefit both your child(ren) and the needy children of Sderot. By partnering with the bar and bat mitzvah community of Sderot, you can enable a group bar/bat mitzvah celebration for the children who would otherwise have no celebration at all. You can create joyous memories of this important occasion and break the cycle of depression. You can assist the struggling families in acquiring the same ritual objects your children will be receiving, and thereby truly share the simcha! For details on sponsoring one child completely, adopting a group of bar/bat mitzvah children or making a donation in honor of your child’s simcha, please click here.

This is a wonderful project for an after school program, school with an art program, and even for the individual budding artist! Missions - Half and Full Day trips
When in Israel, be sure to include a Connections Israel trip on your itinerary.
The two main populations we support throughout the year are our soldiers and victims of terror. During your trip with us you will get up close and personal with members of these groups through visiting an army base and receiving a special briefing on the army’s specialty of search and rescue in Israel and around the world. Then we are off to a special tour of Sderot where you will have the opportunity to see actual kassam rockets and other terrorist weapons as well as learn about the general area and the people who are committed to remaining there. In addition, you will help our understaffed farmers by picking in the produce fields of Table to Table, an organization which donates food to the poor.
Our unique trips combine adventure, chessed and education.
A Connections Israel day brings it all together!
Zachor – Remember on Yom Hashoah / Hazikaron
Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Commemoration Day, comes on the heels of Passover to remember the victims of the Holocaust. The date was chosen as it marks the uprising of the Warsaw ghetto. Just two weeks later, on the day before we joyously celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israeli Independence Day, we solemnly recall all those who gave their life so that we may live in an independent Jewish State on Yom Hazikaron, Memorial Day.

Campus Connections
Express your solidarity with the residents of Sderot by building Campus Connections, a multi-purpose international Jewish complex in the heart of four Sderot communities.
This reinforced cultural solidarity center, will connect with three synagogues and incorporate a playground in its midst. In this way, the beleaguered residents of Sderot will finally be able to go about “business as usual” and celebrate local events in the safety of a new social hall.
Campus Connections will also serve the Diaspora community as a meeting place for integrated events as well as house a museum, exhibition center and conference halls. Express your identity with world Jewry while supporting Jews under siege by undertaking to “build” one part of this complex. For details on sponsorships, naming opportunities and more.
